Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her character Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. The daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared as a little model in a commercial. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on the 13th of May, in 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she landed the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk is doing work on the show since the final season episode premiered on January 6 2013, announced on Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season.
