Sutton Foster, an actor as well as a singer and dancer She has performed in a total of eleven Broadway shows which include the latest revival of Violet. She also originated roles in Broadway with The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. The actress's Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Young Frankenstein. Star Search was her first TV appearance at the age of 15. Her next appearances were in Bunheads as well as Psych as well as Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster is a soloist who has appeared in shows across the US and overseas together with Michael Rafter. They have recorded songs from her debut album "Wish" along with the sequel CD, An Evening With Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. In 2011 she received an Honorary Doctorate degree in the form of an honorary doctorate from Ball State University where she also is on faculty as a professor and advisor to members of the Department of Theatre and Dance.
