Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress, born three days before Halloween, 1983, in Los Angeles. Thompson is the daughter of the singer and songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the niece of actor-musician Bobby Ramos. The family lived within Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her mother is Mexican as well as British Isles roots, while her father is Afro-Panamanian. Thompson attended Santa Monica High School, where she was featured in several theatre productions. Following her graduation, she enrolled at Santa Monica College where she earned a degree on cultural Anthropology. For her role as Juliet the character in William Shakespeare's play "Romeo as well as Juliet" as part of an Pasadena California production by the Boston Court Theatre. She was nominated for the NAACP Theatre Award in the same year. Away from the theatre stage, In 2005, Tessa made her first television appearance in the CBS program
